Leadership
Andy Olmsted, President
Andy has spent sixteen years working in the fields of business innovation and technology commercialization in operating, advisory and investing roles.
He is an Advisor for American Biomass Distribution Holdings, LLC , operating the leading online biomass fuel distribution business in the United States, and is a member of the Advisory Network for Upland Productions, an independent film company at the forefront of premier Web-based persuasive films. He is also a part-time Director with IPVision, Inc., working to identify new business opportunities and support spin-out, acquisition and product development work for Fortune 100 companies.
Recent assignments include technology-based business creation, new products, spin outs, financing, IP portfolio review, due diligence, and business acquisition.
Previously he co-founded Cambridge Incubator, dba Cambridge Innovation Center. There he partnered to raise venture capital, created seed investment deal flow, and led corporate development activities. CIC is now Boston's most successful interim office solution.
He earned his Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
